I love going to conveyor belt sushi restaurants. In Machida I usually go to Kurazushi, but I dropped in at Sushiro on the way home from cycling along the Sakai River, and really loved it. The sakura-ebi was to-die-for, but it is only available for a short season (I went there in May). Of course you can drink as much powdered green tea, and eat as much pickled ginger as you like. Besides the usual varieties of sushi, they had some 'novelty' kinds - for example, seared salmon with cheese and pesto mayonnaise.
