With wildflowers swaying in the breeze, green frogs in the grass and pleasant level roads, the countryside between Mifune and Aso Kumamoto Airport is a pleasant place for a stroll or a bike ride. The silos and green rice fields give this place a very agricultural feeling. You can reach here from the Kyushu Expressway. Just exit at Mifune Interchange, and take in the country North of Mifune off route 444 which runs towards Chisun and Kumamoto Mashiki Country Clubs.

the photos are nice!!
Thank you! The best thing is that you can literally ride downhill here from the airport, and have your luggage hand delivered to your ryokan or country house! Imagine a beautiful outdoor hot spring waiting for you on your arrival..
