Away from the high volume traffic of Kansai and Narita airports, Kobe Airport is relatively quiet and has a beautiful observation deck. Created on a man-made island just south of Port Island, it offers great views of flights taking off and of Akashi Kaikyo Bridge in the distance. You can enjoy good coffee at the airport while watching fascinating air traffic.
